i never would have thought i would blog about korean music but i was thinking about what i should blog about...and since i just paused my youtube video on a korean radio show...and organizing my korean music on Itunes..why not blog about korean music..
my blogs are usually boring...i dont even know who reads them..but who cares..haha. if they're boring..then they're boring..i will not promise you that any of my future blogs will be exciting..HAHA
so korean music...i know we all have different preferences when it comes to korean music..some may listen to it some may not.
PAST TIME!..so..when i was in Junior high--ish...i absolutely LOVED korean music..back then i was crazy about FIN.K.L (Fine Killing Liberty)...SES, H.O.T, g.o.d..Fly to the Sky..etc..but mostly Fin.K.L..where i'm from..it's like mostly Americans..white people there..and hispanics too..but mostly white people..so you wouldnt think that i would listen to korean music..this went on til i was a sophomore in high school..then all of a sudden..korean music wasnt in my playlist..it was more rock, r&b, pop..country...well country was always my thang..ya know..hahha.. but yea..idk what happened..when i was a crazy krn music listener..i remember like imagining myself..being a STAR..haha i would sing to it like crazy and tell myself i'm going to be a star...now when i think about it...yea i wouldnt have made it..HAHA yea yea no self confidence..
PRESENT: and now...it's back to korean music..i still listen to country and others..but idk how it happened..but korean music is back on my playlist and thats pretty much all thats playing...we have 소녀시대(Girl's Generation), 카라(KARA), T-ARA, Brown Eyed Girls, SG WannaBe, 2AM, 2PM and the list goes on and on...
Tell Me Your wish..one of 소녀시대(Girl's Generation) biggest Hits..so catchy..music video is awesome..it's one of those songs you don't get sick of..unless you hear it everywhere you go..but whenever i'm in my car..and it comes on..man its the jam..haha there's alot of other good songs i listen to..or its good to my ears..but maybe later
why do i listen to them? songs are catchy..music videos are good, just simply entertaining i guess. no no i will not turn all fobby on ya'll...that would be the last thing that will happen to me..ya never know..i might try to become a kpop star...HAHA kidding kidding..
i'm pretty sure some of you blog readers have listened to korean music..it's not just korean people listening..i was surprised that my viet friend knew 소녀시대(Girl's Generation) and love them..or like TaeYang's Wedding Dress song..so it's all over the place..
to add to this korean music blog..i will admit i was korean shows..NOT dramas..well i did..only IRIS...but i used to watch ALL KINDS of korean dramas..still my all time fav. is Glass Slipper..but we all know that these dramas always have the same "theme"...someone gets leukemia..and dies..or like cancer...someone takes their place..or evil sister..and an innocent one in the family..along those lines..
I've always wondered how different the american music industry and korean music industry is...i watch like korean award shows..and american award shows..so different..i guess the atmosphere is just different..i've always enjoyed music award shows than tv award shows..i guess because music is what i'm trying to do right now..we see young artists at the age of like 12 or 13 trying out to be a star and they train like crazy..well in korea they do that..america..you can become a big star even when you're in your twenties..like for examply Carrie Underwood..won season 4 american idol when she was 21...now she's one of the biggest country stars out there..here i've always thought..hmmm american idol...give it a shot? but when i don't and i watch the show..i'm like..yea good decision not trying out..cuz man its so competitive..i know i'm very competitive to the point where i'll piss you off..cuz you have pissed me off..haha..but at times i just think..what if i did? but then again..it'll be a waste right? haha
Korean music will forever be in my blood..i can't help it.

Hey~ i came here from youtube...you play the guitar beautifully :)) wellll coool about the korean music bc im korean!! haha. cool..im more of the "present" generation but i agree with several "past" favorites-g.o.d., fly to the sky... but what about tvxq!!!! lol jk it was nice reading.
